Work on the Chemin de Fer du Bocq

Dear Friends of Railway Heritage and Tourism, Dear Friends of the Chemin de Fer du Bocq,

We are delighted to share with you the exciting plans we have to make our railway line even safer and more comfortable, thanks to generous subsidies from the Walloon Region. This year, we are embarking on major improvements to our line, which will benefit not only from the expertise of specialist companies, but also from the dedication of our valued PFT/Chemin de Fer du Bocq volunteers.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers for their total commitment to this major project!

We would like to inform you that this work will have an impact on our schedule of regular and special trains in 2024, and we would like to thank you for your understanding in the face of these temporary adjustments:

  • Valentine’s Day trains (initially scheduled for February 2024) will not be able to run.
  • We will maintain group bookings as far as possible, depending on the specifications of the works. Each group will be informed individually.

We understand that these major works will deprive you of the opportunity to (re)discover the magnificent Bocq valley for several months. However, please bear in mind that our aim is to transform your experience as a visitor, and to expand our offer.

If you would like to support us in these exciting projects, you can do so by visiting our donations page: https://www.cfbocq.be/dons/

You can also stay connected for all future information by subscribing to our newsletter by clicking on this link.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. Together, we’re creating an exceptional rail experience!

Please note that there will be a lot of work trains this winter!

We would like to remind you that it is very dangerous and legally forbidden to drive on railway lines

(Article 7 of the Railway Police Act of 27/04/2018).
