A surprising bistronomic experience: the Bocq Gourmand du Solstice on the Chemin de Fer du Bocq.
Come and enjoy one of the longest days of the year and an exceptional bistronomic experience on board our vintage train!
You’ll travel through the magnificent Bocq Valley while enjoying a bistronomic meal in a 1960s dining car (air-conditioned carriages).
Timetable:
– Saturday 21 June 2025: departures at 13.00 h and 19.00 h
– Sunday 22 June: departs at 13.00 h

Pick-up at Spontin station :
– Saturday 21 June 2025 between 12.45 pm and 1 pm or between 6.45 pm and 7 pm
– Sunday 22 June 2025 between 12.45 pm and 1 pm

The Bocq Gourmand du Solstice takes place on one of Belgium’s most picturesque routes, in the heart of the Bocq valley, and lasts around 3 hours.

There are several stops along the way.

Throughout the journey, you will be served a 3-course bistronomic meal.

The train is air-conditioned. So there’s no risk of getting too hot or too cold !
Warning ! Depending on the work in progress on the Chemin de Fer du Bocq line, the itinerary may be changed without affecting the total duration of the journey or the service.

The train departs from and arrives at Spontin station (Chaussée de Dinant, 3, 5530, Spontin), where there is ample free parking.

Our trains are not equipped with toilets. However, toilets are available at Spontin station.

Accessibility for people with reduced mobility (PRM) : our trains date from the 1930s to the 1960s, a period when transport access for PRMs was not as developed as it is today. However, we have installed mobile access ramps on most of our trains.

Due to the configuration of our restaurant car (tables of 2 or 4 people), registrations are mainly made by groups of 2 or multiples of 2 participants.
If all our 2-person tables are booked, it is possible that 2 separate registrations will be placed at the same 4-person table ! -
The minimum number of people is 28 and the maximum is 42.
