Discover the Chemin de Fer du Bocq

A journey back in time in the heart of breathtaking nature!

Come aboard an authentic railcar from the 1950s for a guided ride through the Bocq valley, or take part in one of our special events ranging from a meal served on board the train to a meeting with Saint-Nicolas.

Departing from Spontin station, the 1-hour journey will take you to Dorinne-Durnal (possible stopover), Purnode (possible stopover), Bauche PN (possible stopover) and back to the starting point.

!! ATTENTION !

In order to offer you optimum safety and comfort at all times, we are carrying out infrastructure work on part of our beautiful railway line (between Spontin and Ciney).

As a result :

  • our fares have been significantly reduced
  • the new route will link Spontin and Bauche, round trip
  • timetables remain unchanged.

Work on the Chemin de Fer du Bocq

We’re delighted to share with you the exciting plans we have in the pipeline to make our railway line even safer and more comfortable, thanks to generous subsidies from the Walloon Region. This year we are embarking on major improvements to our line, which will benefit not only from the expertise of specialist companies but also from the dedication of our valued PFT/Chemin de Fer du Bocq volunteers.

These works will have an impact on our regular and special train schedules in 2024.
