Discover authentic and renowned Christmas markets !

The Aachen Christmas Market (Aachener WeihnachtsMarkt) is held in the city centre, specifically around the cathedral, town hall and neighbouring squares. There are over a hundred craft stalls, festive decorations, food stalls (sausages, sweets, mulled wine, etc.) and hot drinks, all in a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The historic setting — Gothic cathedral, old buildings — adds a special charm to the market, especially with the Christmas atmosphere at dusk.
The Eupen Christmas market is often described as Belgium’s oldest Christmas market, in the Germanic tradition. There are around 80 chalets in the historic centre. The atmosphere combines music, illuminations, concerts in some churches and entertainment for young and old alike (carousel, visit from St Nicholas).
